Hair Loss, Hair Thinning, and Whole Body Hair Wellness
Healthy hair is rarely just about the hair.
In the Hair + Wellness Lab, I take a whole body approach to thinning hair, excessive shedding, and scalp concerns. As a holistic trichologist, I combine scalp analysis along with BioScan technology, blood chemistry insights, and personalized wellness strategies to help uncover the root causes that may be affecting your hair.
Whether you are experiencing sudden hair shedding, gradual thinning, or changes in scalp health, we work together to support stronger, healthier hair from the inside out.
Are you noticing changes in your hair?
Many clients first reach out when they begin to notice:
• More hair in the shower or brush
• Widening parts or thinning ponytails
• Excessive shedding after illness, stress, or hormonal changes
• Scalp irritation, itching, or inflammation
• Hair that feels weaker, finer, or slower to grow
• Hair changes connected to autoimmune conditions or overall health shifts
Hair loss can feel confusing and frustrating, especially when the answers are not clear. My goal is to help you understand what may be contributing to those changes and how to support your hair moving forward.
Types of Hair Loss I Commonly Support
Hair loss or hair changes can occur for many different reasons. Some of the most common forms I help clients with include:
• Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) also known as female pattern hair loss
• Telogen Effluvium, a form of excessive shedding often triggered by illness, stress, hormonal changes, or rapid weight changes
• Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (CCCA), a form of scarring alopecia that benefits from early support
• Lichen Planopilaris (LPP), an inflammatory scarring alopecia that can affect the scalp and hair follicles
• Postpartum hair loss
• Stress-related hair shedding
• Autoimmune-related hair changes
• Hair thinning related to hormonal shifts, menopause, GLP-1 use, and surgery.
In many cases, hair loss is connected to factors happening within the body, such as nutrient imbalances, inflammation, hormonal shifts, stress, immune activity, or lifestyle factors. That is why my approach looks beyond surface treatments.
A Whole Body Approach to Hair Health
In the Hair + Wellness Lab we look at the bigger picture.
Your consultation may include:
• Scalp and hair analysis using visual scoping
• BioScan wellness assessment to evaluate body imbalances
• Review of blood chemistry and lab work when available
• Lifestyle and wellness evaluation
• Nutritional and supplement guidance based on your results
• Recommendations for holistic non-chemical topical hair and scalp products
• Personalized scalp care and hair support strategies
Each client receives a custom treatment protocol based on their unique needs. Hair loss rarely has a single cause, so treatment plans are designed to support both scalp health and the internal factors that influence hair growth.
Your First Step
Your journey begins with a 60-90 minute in depth consultation ($299) designed to understand your hair history, health background, and current concerns. The consultation fee is applied toward your treatment plan if you choose to proceed.
Before your visit you will:
• Complete the online intake form
• Upload any available blood work (we can proceed without, but prefer to have within the last 6 months)
• Once I receive the consultation form I will contact you to book the consultation. A non-refundable $60 booking fee is required.
During your appointment we will review your history, examine your scalp, and identify the most likely contributors to your hair changes. From there I will create a personalized treatment plan designed to support healthier hair and scalp function that will be sent via email for your review.
Virtual consultations are also available for clients who are not local to the Matthews and Charlotte area.
Whether you are experiencing thinning hair, excessive shedding, autoimmune-related hair changes, or scalp concerns, my goal is to help you better understand what may be affecting your hair and support you with thoughtful, personalized solutions.
What Is Keeping You From Making the Change?
You may be closer to answers about your hair and health than you think.
For many people, the hardest part is simply taking the first step. Hair loss can feel personal and vulnerable, and it can be frustrating when you feel like you are not getting clear answers from your doctor about why it is happening.
The good news is that there are often solutions and supportive strategies that can help once the right questions are asked and the bigger picture is considered.
That is exactly why the Hair + Wellness Lab exists.
My private salon studio in downtown Matthews offers a calm and supportive space where you can talk openly about your concerns without the noise and distractions of a busy salon. It allows us to slow down, ask better questions, and begin exploring what may be contributing to the changes you are seeing in your hair and overall wellness.
During your consultation we review your hair history, health background, lifestyle factors, and any lab work you may have. We look closely at your scalp and hair health, explore potential root causes, and begin creating a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
Because healthier hair is often the result of supporting the body as a whole.
Whether you are experiencing thinning hair, excessive shedding, autoimmune-related changes, hormonal shifts, or other forms of hair loss, there are solutions and strategies that can help move you forward.
Are you ready to take the next step toward healthier hair and a healthier you?
When you are ready, the first step is scheduling your Hair + Wellness Lab consultation.
