Your scalp is the environment your hair grows from, and sometimes it needs a little more support than a great shampoo and conditioner can offer.
These optional add-on therapies are available during your appointment as time allows. Most require little to no additional time, while a few may need an extra 15–20 minutes. If something sounds perfect for you but we do not have time during your current visit, I can help build a little cushion into your next appointment.
Advanced Digital Scalp Analysis
This service uses professional magnification and digital imaging to take a closer look at your scalp and follicle environment.
As a Certified Trichologist and Holistic Practitioner, I use this tool to provide basic trichology-based insight into what may be showing up on the scalp. This may include visible signs of buildup, irritation, inflammation, density changes, oil imbalance, flaking, or possible follicle miniaturization.
This is especially helpful if you have noticed shedding, thinning, scalp discomfort, itching, flaking, or changes in your hair density.
Best if:
You want a clearer understanding of what is happening on your scalp instead of guessing.
Timing:
This may require an additional 15–20 minutes. In most cases, I may need to review images closely and email findings after your appointment.
Bio Scan Wellness Assessment
Hair and scalp health are closely connected to what is happening inside the body. The Bio Scan is a non-invasive wellness assessment that examines energetic stress patterns that may be connected to nutrient needs, inflammation, circulation, hormonal stress, immune stress, and overall body balance.
After the scan, I review the findings and provide supportive wellness guidance, which may include supplement recommendations, lifestyle support, and next steps to support the body from the inside out.
Best if:
You are noticing shedding, thinning, slow growth, scalp changes, fatigue, stress patterns, or you want a broader wellness picture connected to your hair health.
Timing:
The scan itself is quick, but your personalized summary and recommendations will be emailed. We will do a quick review in the salon, and I will send out the Wellness Assessment and support documents on my office day. Usually, Monday or Tuesday the following week.
Red Light Therapy Cap
Red light therapy uses low-level light wavelengths to support cellular energy within the hair follicle and scalp tissue.
This therapy may help support circulation, follicle activity, healthier hair growth cycles, and stronger-looking regrowth in areas experiencing early thinning or shedding.
Best if:
You are experiencing shedding, early thinning, slower growth, or want ongoing scalp support.
Timing:
This may require an additional 15–20 minutes.
Ozone Scalp Therapy
Ozone scalp therapy is designed to help oxygenate the scalp and support a cleaner, more balanced scalp environment.
This therapy may help support circulation, scalp freshness, microbial balance, and overall follicle health. Ozone is also known for its supportive role in wound healing and may help reduce the presence of fungal overgrowth, biofilm, and other forms of scalp imbalance.
It can be especially helpful when the scalp feels congested, irritated, oily, itchy, or out of balance.
Best if:
Your scalp feels irritated, heavy, congested, itchy, flaky, or like it needs a reset.
Timing:
This may require an additional 15–20 minutes.
High Frequency Scalp Treatment
High frequency therapy uses a gentle electrical current through a glass electrode to stimulate the scalp and support circulation.
Within this treatment, I may incorporate red light frequency and ultraviolet light, used together or separately depending on what your scalp needs that day.
Red light is used to support cellular energy within the follicle, helping encourage circulation, follicle activity, and a healthier growth environment.
Ultraviolet light is used in a controlled way to help purify the scalp surface and support a more balanced environment, especially when there are signs of buildup, irritation, or microbial imbalance.
This combination helps energize the scalp, support blood flow to the follicle, calm minor irritation, and encourage overall scalp vitality.
Best if:
You want a targeted treatment to support circulation, scalp balance, and follicle stimulation in a short amount of time.
Timing:
This usually requires little additional time.
Relaxation Scalp Massage
This extended scalp massage is focused on calming the nervous system, reducing scalp tension, and supporting circulation to the hair follicles.
Scalp tension and stress can affect how the scalp feels and functions, so this is a beautiful option if you want your appointment to feel a little more restorative.
Best if:
You carry tension in your head, neck, jaw, or shoulders, or you simply want a more relaxing appointment experience.
Timing:
This usually requires minimal additional time.
Scalp Detox Treatment
This treatment uses Sea Tox clay from my scalp wellness program, along with steam, to help deeply refresh the scalp. When appropriate, a clarifying shampoo may be used beforehand if you are not receiving a color service.
The goal is to help remove buildup, excess oil, product residue, and environmental debris so the scalp feels cleaner and more balanced. This can also help prepare the scalp for other therapies, allowing them to work more effectively.
Best if:
You have scalp irritation, buildup, oiliness, flaking, or you want to start with a clean slate before adding another scalp therapy.
Timing:
This usually requires little additional time, depending on your scheduled service.
A Gentle Note
These add-on therapies are designed to support scalp health, relaxation, and overall hair wellness during your regular salon appointment.
They are not a full hair loss protocol program, and results are not guaranteed. For clients needing deeper support with shedding, thinning, or hair loss, a more comprehensive trichology consultation or wellness plan may be recommended.
